Peter Caunt CA

Peter has over 40 years of experience in the accounting profession.

Starting as an articled clerk for a firm of chartered accountants in Nottingham England, Peter has worked in the accounting profession here in Sydney since his arrival in Australia in 1977.

Peter is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a registered tax agent and company auditor, as well as being a Justice of the Peace.

Peter has extensive knowledge and experience in business advice, self managed superannuation funds and taxation advice to small to medium size enterprises and high net wealth individuals.

John Lowbeer B Com, CA

John is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Taxation Institute and has over 30 years experience in taxation, accounting and management services.

His background includes working for 5 years as a CFO and assistant General Manager for a major global power tool and accessory company.

John is a registered company auditor, tax agent, a Justice of the Peace and is also a qualified commercial mediator.

John enjoys assisting clients with all aspects of their business focusing on accounting business advice, self managed superannuation funds, wealth creation and taxation advice.

John also enjoys painting, travelling and spending time with his family.


Paul Hareb B Com, CA

Paul has been involved in the accounting profession for over 25 years. He has a wide breadth of experience and knowledge in taxation, accounting and auditing, and enjoys advising clients on their taxation and business affairs. 

Paul gained this knowledge through his experiences in two of the big international accounting firms as well as working in accounting roles in commerce. He also taught on the academic staff of the University of Cape Town until 1986 when he was recruited by one of the big firms to immigrate to Australia. Since then he has worked in senior accounting roles in commerce and the accounting profession in Sydney.

Paul joined Peter Caunt in 2001 and was admitted as a Partner to Caunt and Lowbeer in 2003.

Paul is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and is a registered tax agent.

Mark Williams B.Com (Accg), BBA, CA

Mark is the most recent addition to the practice and was admitted as a Partner on 1 July 2007. Mark has been with the practice since his first year of University in 2000.

Mark has been involved in all areas of the firm since joining, and has worked with a wide variety of clients. He enjoys advising clients across areas of taxation, accounting, superannuation and business development and growth, as well as assisting them in achieving their goals.

Following completion of the Chartered Accountants Program in March 2007, Mark was admitted as a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. He is also registered tax agent and a Justice of the Peace.

Outside of work, Mark's main interests lie in sport and music. He follows all codes of football, and also plays tennis, golf, touch football, and enjoys snowboarding and motorbike riding. Mark also enjoys watching live music and playing the drums.
